My Team of the Season.
GK: Scott Carson
Solid player, too bad he cldn't save them from relegation. He will shine shld Pool gives him a chance as No.1
RB: Steve Finnan
Seems like all the good right backs aren't glamourous..unlike a certain dani alves across the pond. He unsung, he crosses well and he looks like matt damon!
LB: Gareth Barry
Leadership, decent pace and delivery, all in all one of the few consistently good ones this season. As compared to a certain cashley.
CB: Ricardo Carvalho
The beacon in Chelski corkananthan defence this season, wat will mourinho do without him. Basket has a knack of scoring against Utd.
CB: N. Vidic
Yeah, i have problems spelling his 1st name, but tt doesnt stop me from making him my best centre back this season. One of the biggest reasons utd won the trophy this season. His absence towards the end only enhances his reputation.
LM: Arjen Robben
Of cos, he must be match fit in order to be on the pitch but when he's on the pitch, he's a terror. should his move to bayern materialise, its chelsea's big loss.
CM: Xabi Alonso
Becos my GF says so. Its reason enough.
CM: Micheal Carrick
In my opinion, he's the unsung hero for UTD this season where scholes has been taking the pundits. If i rem correctly, he started a huge chunk of UTD's game this season, just behind rooney n ferdinard. So maybe ferguson shares my opinion too. hahaha.
RM: Christiano Ronaldo
All of the rest of the media and the professional footballer in England cant be wrong, aye? The good thing abt him this season, i think, would be his maturity into a more complete footballer. His new found abilites to pick a pass, make runs into space, take a shot at the rite time all contributes to him being the engine behind Utd's charge to the title this season. Just ask rooney, hahaha.
FW: Didier Drogba
The one reason chelsea was in contention for all 3 trophies and the ONLY reason they ended up with 2 cups this season. Enough said.
FW: Dimitar Berbatov
Classy player, managed to make the grade straight from the off, question is, will he still be with spurs come next season. Utd remains a possible destination.
