most of the times, its diff to make everyone happy. actually, its practically impossible. so we nid to choose to make certain ppl happy.

thats the tricky part. what should the criteria be? even if the criteria is settled upon, the ways to make a person happy are numerous. which one to apply? one man's meat is another's poison.

in the end, things are meant to be broken. then fixed up. then broken again. then fixed up yet again.

rooney's 21st birthday week yielded him his 1st hat-trick of league career. in fact, its the 1st hat trick of this season! wonderful goals too.

pain beckons, for i am seriously comtemplating if i shld really go fix myself up. fix myself up real good. then again, waiting for messages can be a real pain in the ass too. a pain that cant be fixed, just that little bit out of reach.

da pledge, the turn, le prestige, who cares about the man in the box? i really dig christian bale's character in 'the prestige' shows the duality of a person. very well done. of coz, it at least proves that it isnt just because 'he is a man' that the character has two loves.

two loves, which to choose and which to keep.....a great question demanding a equally great answer. my bike or my ball?

sometimes, i take a listen to the songs / raps by eminem and think, how the hell does he gets all the angst from? from his failed marriage? from his crap single parent childhood? from his being discriminated against in a black dominated sector of the music industry?

of coz, he can either just shove it down his throat and stomach it all inside or 'just lose it' and broadcast it to the world through his albums. in a way, its good to give attention to the poor plight that some of us face in the bad times. but my question is, will that be enuff to solve the underlying cause of it all? can publicity help those in need? can over exposure in the media solve the causes of their current sad state?

i personally doubt so. reason being, if all was well and good, everyone shld be happy and media attention should be focused on finding out which celebrity went for a nose job etc etc...that would be more fun anytime...hahahahhahahaha... "/

P.S: can't really string any coherent logical thoughts together these days. dunno wats wrong also. haiz, better get my act together soon if not, i am just so going to die on dec 3.

do you have the time,to listen to me whine?
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
time grabs me by the wrist, directs me where to go.
summer has come and past, wake me up when september ends.
my shadow's the only one who walks beside me.
i walk a lonely road, the only one i ever known
i am the son of rage and love
to fall in love and fall in debt
to alcohol and cigarettes and mary jane
to keep me insane while doing someone's else's cocaine
Its something unpredictable
but in the end its right
i hope you have the time of your life
Grasping to control
So you better hold on

I am having a sore throat, makes me feel like just calling in sick today. Yet, there is urgent stuff i need to finish today. The urge was strong, really strong. The imagery of me waking up on the noon.

Here I am, wishing and waiting for time to pass me by, as swift as a swell channel, taking me along with it......

Oh, just a footnote, saw this full page advertorial in the Straits Times by the hospice association of singapore or something like tt. It was about Death. Morbid the topic may be, i really lurvvvvvvve tt advert. U all shld read it. I had fun and had a smile, a wisp of a smile at the end of it. U should too, for its only fair to the writer.

KT Tunstall - Other Side Of The World

Over the sea and far away
She's waiting like an Iceberg
Waiting to change,
But she's cold inside
She wants to be like
the water,

All the muscles tighten in her face
Buries her soul in one embrace
They're one and the same
Just like water

Then the fire fades away
But most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're.... the other side of the world
to me

On comes the panic light
Holding on with fingers
and feelings alike
But the time has come
To move along

Then the fire fades away
But most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're.... the other side of the world

Can you help me?
Can you let me go
And can you still love me
When you can't see me anymore

Then the fire fades away
most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're.... the other side of the world
Ohh.... the other side of the world
You're.... the other side of the world
To me.

although 'singapore dreaming' isnt like the average typical jack neo local blockbuster, i hope it doesnt be box office poison like so many other local movies.

i, for one, find it a very very meaningful movie. it made me think / anticipate come what may in the not so future future.

would i be a corporate whore, selling my life to the highest bidder to fund my ever budgeoning expenses? or would i be contented with a fixed abielt modest income enough to cover my expenses?

if the lesson u take away from this movie is, well...
