you know you are from a different era when your definitive player wearing a certain shirt at your favourite football club is so different from the next fan of the club.

that sucks.

the monotony of work / life is smothering, yet so endearing in a way that its never going to change. either for you or for the world. people change, everything does. maybe that's why this monotony is so alluring as it is smothering. much like the chick you thought you saw at the club only to find out that you are just so wrong the morning after.

as dr house said in ep 501, almost dying changes nothing, dying changes everything. how very true.

i rem the 1st time i tried rock climbing was in secondary sch. cant rem much except that a female classmate of mine 'got stuck' on the wall. cue all the shrieks and whining from above and encouragement and cajoling from below. most importantly, tt was the 1st time i enjoyed the air at the top, it was good.

somehow my odac days in jc was either spend out at selatar island or at our sch's rock wall. in my days, accdg to lim, it was a big deal to have a 12M wall in the sch, and since he was the one who pushed for it, it wld be best if his ECA ppl can utilise it the most to ensure money din go to waste. cue rock climbing courses, belaying courses, abseiling courses. those will fun and i took in the air at the top even more and the view was splendid too.

some PE lessons were spend at the wall, with lim hawking his new baby to anyone who cared to try. and the odac ppl were obviously arrowed for any sai gang tt comes with climbing PE lessons. like the ropes, fig of 8, carabiners etc etc, of cos route setting is done by lim, a chance for him to show off his muscles. haha

sometime between end of jc and start of uni, me and my mates, set out for some RnR in thailand coupled with some natural limestone climbing. the views at the top there were absolutely stunning. the abseiling part was great. gravity never felt so good.

its been a long long while since i updated this blog of mine.

lotsa things to update and to share yet so little time. to those that read this, i am still well and good and i gotten my driver's license and now co-own a set of wheels.

the feeling of freedom is indeed hard to describe and the tangible price of this intangible freedom is very stressing.

tts the big paradox of life...

those temple of steel and glass dedicated to shopping were......larger then huge... now u r asking how big that might be.. its actually wat u get when u CONNECT a few HUGE malls together.. gosh, me thinks the GF might dig tt place alot.

the one thing not so good was the cuisine part..we din managed to find any authenic thai food that suits our platate. watever happened to thai express. hahaha.

all in all, i am real tempted to make another trip back in the near near future.
